Indianapolis Colts extensive receiver Josh Downs is week-to-week with a shoulder damage, NFL Community reported Monday.
He left Sunday’s 24-6 loss to the Detroit Lions with the damage and is a “lengthy shot” to play in Week 13 on the New England Patriots, per the report.
Downs was injured after a 7-yard catch within the fourth quarter when he was tackled from behind and appeared to land on his shoulder.
Downs, 23, leads the Colts (5-7) with 53 receptions and ranks second on the workforce in receiving yards (594) in 10 video games (six begins) this season. He shares the workforce lead with 4 landing catches.
Drafted within the third spherical in 2023, Downs has 121 catches for 1,365 yards and 6 touchdowns in 27 video games (15 begins).
