Former NFL operating again Adrian Peterson has been ordered by a Houston decide to show over quite a few belongings as a method towards paying a debt that’s estimated at greater than $12 million.
The court-appointed receiver, Robert Berleth, requested this order in July and stated Peterson “is thought to have quite a few belongings” at his residence in Missouri Metropolis, Texas. The Houston decide on Monday ordered constables in Fort Bend County, Texas, to accompany Berleth to Peterson’s residence to maintain the peace.
Peterson’s debt points started when he took out a mortgage for $5.2 million from a Pennsylvania lending firm in 2016. The sum has grown because of curiosity and legal professional’s charges, resulting in an $8.3 million judgment in opposition to him in 2021.
“No offsets have been made in opposition to this judgment thus far,” the receiver said within the July court docket submitting.
Peterson, 39, final performed within the NFL through the 2021 season.
