The second recreation of Wednesday’s cut up doubleheader between the visiting Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves has been postponed because of forecasted inclement climate.
The sport has been rescheduled for Sept. 9.
The brand new date had been the one off day for Cincinnati throughout a nine-game highway journey and is sandwiched between stops in New York and St. Louis. Atlanta can be coming off a six-game homestand, with a visit to Washington to face the Nationals set for Sept. 10.
It’s the second postponement of the collection. Tuesday’s recreation was rained out and rescheduled as a part of Wednesday’s twin invoice.
Cincinnati gained 4-1 on Monday within the collection opener, then prevailed 9-4 earlier Wednesday in Recreation 1 of the doubleheader.
