Washington:
Defence Minister Israel Katz on Monday acknowledged that Israel had killed former Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran earlier this 12 months, as he warned the navy would “decapitate” the management of Yemen’s Huthi rebels.
“We’ll strike exhausting on the Huthis… and decapitate their management — simply as we did with Haniyeh, (Yahya) Sinwar, and (Hassan) Nasrallah in Tehran, Gaza, and Lebanon, we’ll achieve this in Hodeida and Sanaa,” Katz stated, within the first public acknowledgement that Israel was behind the killing of Haniyeh in July within the Iranian capital.
