The person who hanged Nazi warfare felony Adolf Eichmann in 1962, Shalom Nagar, has died, Israeli media reported on Wednesday.
Adolf Eichmann, one of many foremost architects of the “Closing Resolution” aimed toward wiping out Europe’s Jews, was tried by an Israeli courtroom in April 1961 after being kidnapped from Argentina.
He was hanged on Could 31, 1962 at Ramleh jail close to Tel Aviv, the one particular person ever to be executed in Israel.
Nagar was a jail service worker on the time and chosen to hold Eichmann.
