Two-time Professional-Bowl security Eddie Jackson agreed to a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN reported on Friday.
Monetary phrases weren’t disclosed for Jackson, who performed at Alabama with Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and working again Derrick Henry. Jackson will present depth to a security room that options Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton, amongst others.
Jackson, 30, was launched by the Chicago Bears in February after seven seasons with the workforce, though his final two campaigns have been hampered by foot accidents.
Jackson recorded 37 tackles and one interception in 12 video games (all begins) final season. He racked up 459 tackles, 15 interceptions, 10 pressured fumbles and 6 fumble recoveries in 100 profession video games (all begins) since being chosen by the Bears within the fourth spherical of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Named first-team All-Professional in 2018 and to the Professional Bowl in 2018 and 2019, Jackson’s six defensive touchdowns tied him with Lance Briggs for third in Bears historical past, behind solely Charles Tillman (9) and Mike Brown (seven).
