Terror Suspect On US’ Most-Wanted List Arrested In UK: FBI

An alleged animal-rights extremist on the U.S. most-wanted terrorist listing since 2009 in reference to the bombing of a California biotechnology agency has been arrested in the UK, the FBI stated on Tuesday.

The suspect, Daniel Andreas San Diego, was arrested in Wales on Monday in an operation carried out by Britain’s Nationwide Crime Company, Counter Terrorism Policing and the North Wales Police in coordination with the FBI, the FBI stated in a press release. It was not instantly clear if San Diego, who’s now in detention pending extradition, has authorized illustration.

San Diego was charged in reference to a bomb blast at biotechnology agency Chiron Inc close to Oakland, California, in August 2003. A second bomb discovered there was deactivated by authorities and probably supposed to focus on first responders. Authorities accuse San Diego of planting a 3rd bomb at one other California firm a month later.
