The UConn and Louisville girls’s basketball groups will tip off the 2025-26 season within the Armed Forces Basic at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
Earlier editions of the occasion have been held since 2012, however the Nov. 4, 2025 sport introduced Thursday would be the first that includes girls’s hoops.
“We need to do as a lot as we presumably can, each personally and team-wise, to help our armed forces,” Huskies head coach Geno Auriemma stated in an announcement. “I am glad we’re getting the chance to go abroad and have a lot of our navy members see us play in individual. I do know it will be an expertise of a lifetime for everybody in our program.”
The competition will air on ESPN.
