Yemen’s Houthi Rebels Vow “Military Response” To Israel Escalation

The chief of Yemen’s Iran-backed Huthi rebels vowed a “navy response” Thursday to the killing of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in an assault blamed on Israel.

“There must be a navy response to those crimes, that are shameless and harmful, and represent a serious escalation by the Israeli enemy,” Abdul Malik al-Huthi mentioned in a televised speech.

The Yemeni rebels have been launching drones and missiles at delivery within the Purple Sea since November, saying they’re appearing in solidarity with Palestinians throughout the Gaza warfare.
